Weekly Volcano Feature, Fear of a Female Planet OCT 16th at Real Art

Had fun chatting it up with Rev. Adam McKinney at Weekly Volcano about my journey from Carol Bui to Star Matriarch, why Red Ship was reissued, and making music as Empire falls. You can check out the article here. Band photo by @rabbithutchpunk, with Kyle Cornwell on drums and Jenn Schmidt on bass.

The piece came out just in time for tomorrow's FEAR OF A FEMALE PLANET show hosted by Grit City Punk at Real Art! FRI OCT 16TH 630PM DOORS, ALL AGES. Honored to be in a lineup with these three fierce, femme fronted bands: @grrrizzlyband, @missmanagedband, and @fuckmarrykill.band

This will be our last show for a couple months while I continue working on the next record. So far, I've got 3 songs tracked and aiming for an EP's worth by the end of January. The theme is navigating motherhood and midlife as Empire falls. It'll be a little louder than Red Ship. The rage is quite joyous, really.
